Full Time Lighting Designer

 

            We are looking for a lighting designer to work with our existing team to maintain our lighting equipment at the highest level.

             We are looking for someone that has live event experience as we handle some of the biggest events in Southeastern Wisconsin.

             The Lighting Designer is responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining entertainment lighting equipment.

             The ideal candidate is an experienced tech with excellent interpersonal skills and will provide professional  customer service both in-house and on job sites that upholds to Exciting Events standards.

 

Responsibilities Include:

 

  • Experience on HOG board highly recommended

  • Corporate events, as well as large and small lighting shows

  • Current knowledge of DMX

  • Art Net knowledge experience ( not required)

Audio/Video/Lighting Production Show Lead

General Stagehand Labor

Production crews/stagehands perform a variety of tasks in setting/operating/striking event production equipment including sound, lighting, and audio-visual equipment, the unloading and loading of production equipment trucks, and providing general stage labor.

This is an excellent opportunity to work "behind the scenes" at all the major venues in the Milwaukee area, for a variety of events, including corporate events, non-profit gala and sporting events.

Individuals are required to perform a variety of physical tasks including but not limited to, the set-up and take down of event related equipment such as sound and light equipment, staging, flooring and decorating inventory such as drapes and centerpieces.

Individuals should have a good attitude, be highly motivated, have demonstrated ability to perform various routine and skilled tasks and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must:

Vehicle Graphics Installer 

 

We are looking for reliable, highly motivated, and experienced vehicle graphic installers. As a Vehicle Graphics Installer, you will work with our team of professionals to prep, Install graphic/wraps while meeting customer expectations and deadlines. Candidates must have experience applying graphics on a variety of vehicle styles and surfaces using proven techniques to produce the highest quality of graphic installation. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must:

  •  Valid Wisconsin driver's license 

  •  Industry experience of 2+ years

  •  Strong communication skills

  •  Lift 50lbs.

  •  Flexibility to work overtime when needed 

  •  Knowledge and ability to use general tools and measurement devices.

  •  Exceptional Customer Service

  •  Detail Oriented 

  •  Ability to work from heights greater than 10' off the ground on ladders, scaffolding, or boom lifts.

  • 3M certification a bonus but not required 

  • Experience with Adobe 

Fabrication Apprenticeship Position

Exciting Events is seeking a fabricator apprentice with an eye for quality to join our fabrication department team. In this position, you’ll be working with a large range of materials and techniques to create some of the most amazing entertainment products in the world. Using advanced methods of fabrication, you will take raw materials and work every process to achieve the customers desired result. From welding to wood working to electrical wiring and painting, you will have an opportunity to learn and use many skillsets every day.  Additionally, you’ll be able to take advantage of other team members knowledge to grow quickly in your new career. Job Responsibilities

  • Check measurements and dimensions of each piece that’s being worked on with measuring tapes, calipers, and squares

  • Meet with team members to review and understand drawings and other specification before starting work on a fabrication project. Document the steps to ensure accurate completion

  • Use tooling such as welders, grinders, drill presses, table saws, steel roller, flame torch and a variety of hand tools to cut, bend, grind and adjust materials per drawing specifications.

  • Make jigs and templates for common work tasks when conducting repetitive tasks to ensure a set standard of work quality

  • Quality control all parts and finished projects to ensure the highest quality work

  • Have punctual attendance and follow all company policies and procedures

 

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or a GED equivalent

  • At least two years of experience in manufacturing or other trades

  • Ability to comprehend blueprints and work specifications

  • Strong mathematical skills

  • Motivated, ready to learn and willing to be mentored

  • Physical ability to lift at least 75 pounds or more

Preferred:

  • Welding certificate completion

  • Understanding of construction tasks

  • Experience with 12V automotive power

 

Pay:  Starting pay based on prior applicable experience.
