On October 11th, 2009 over 4,000 walkers joined together for the kick-off of the Annual Aids Walk at Summerfest grounds in Milwaukee.  This 20th annual celebration surpassed an important milestone of $10 million raised for the fight against AIDS in Wisconsin since the event began in 1989.  Exciting Events was there to provide a helping hand with the many components needed to make this event a success!

Audio
Considering we needed to get the attention of thousands of attendees, a 6-speaker Pro PA sound system was needed for music, speaker presentations and counting down the official start of the walk.  While enhancing this event with our powerful audio package, we made it possible to deliver exactly what the client wanted of clear, crisp sound for everyone to hear.  We believe in creating powerful yet reasonable sound to make your guests feel the energy and liveliness to any event.

Special Effects
Creating an atmosphere with enthusiasm and energy is what Exciting Events strives for during every event.  The special effects we did for this years AIDS walk is an excellent example of what we can do to take any event to the next level.  As the announcer began to count down the seconds to start off the walk, three Cryo jets went off from all different areas of the stage.  To proclaim the start of the walk, bursts of confetti were released into the air by our CO2 confetti cannons, along with streamers and balloons.  Not only did this create cheers and claps from the audience, but it completely energized the walkers to face their 5K challenge.

Décor
Exciting Events not only has innovative décor for inside locations, but also for large outside areas.  As the walkers neared the finish line, they were greeted by flowing and colorful 30’ Fly Guys and 35’ Vertitubes.  These décor items grabbed the attention of walkers of all ages and added excitement to conclude the walk and to entice walkers to finish strong.
